With little space in the back yard or on a balcony this is a good performer, come with short 3,5m soft wire radials in either black or orange.

The bands are 40m, 20m, 15m and 10m. Good performer! All bands tested around 2.5 SWR or better, but we still recommend a tuner to take you outside these bands or get perfect 1:1 swr.

The antenna does not come with instructions as everything goes together logically and is self-evident. It goes together pretty well and the size of the aluminium tubes forces you to put it together the right way. The matching stubs are clearly labelled so I don't think you can go wrong.

=> We recommend an aluminium pole of about 2m long roughly 38-40mm diameter buried 1m in the ground in hole filled with quickset premix concrete 50KG bag with no additional guy ropes need except in areas with extremely windy conditions. The antenna should be mounted about 500mm from the ground.

=> On a balcony a heavy umbrella stand can serve as a temporary base with a suitable piece of Aluminium pipe of about 1m long. The antenna should be mounted about 500mm from the ground.

=> Comes with sufficient radials about 3,5m long. The radials can be placed in a circle, half circle or even a 1/4 as long as enough radials are down on the ground it will work well. Long tuned radials are not needed on ground mounted wire radials. Choice of black or bright orange radials.
